Delete your Kaloqa account

See how to delete a single place or city from your Journeys without deleting your whole account.

1. Open Kaloqa and sign in.
2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
3. Confirm. Your account is deactivated immediately and you're signed out.

Email privacy@kaloqa.com from the email address on your account, with the subject line "Delete my account." We'll process the request the same way as an in-app deletion.

Your account is deactivated right away — you're signed out and it no longer appears active. It is not immediately erased: for the next 30 days, signing back in restores your account instead of continuing the deletion. This is a deliberate grace period in case you change your mind.

If you don't sign back in within those 30 days, an automated process permanently erases the account:

• Every photo you uploaded (journey photos and place photos) is deleted from storage, not just its listing.
• Your account credentials and sign-in are deleted.
• Your profile, journey history, ratings, and saved places (Picks) are deleted.
• Your contributions — tips, visitor notes, corrections, place nominations, and upvotes — are deleted, along with any place-visit veto history and skip-count records tied to your account.

• Feedback you submitted (bug reports, feature suggestions) is kept, but is disconnected from your account — it's no longer linked to your identity or any personal information, and is retained to help us improve the product.
• AI-generated place descriptions that were informed by a tip you once contributed are not rewritten when your account is deleted. Once your tip becomes part of a place's shared, non-attributed description, deleting your account removes your original contribution record, but doesn't retroactively rewrite content already generated from it.
