Delete a single place from your Journeys
- Open Kaloqa and go to the Journeys tab.
- Find the place you want to remove.
- Delete the entry (swipe to delete, or use the entry's menu, depending on your device).
This removes that entry immediately and permanently — there's no undo. Any photo you attached to that entry is deleted from storage at the same time, not just unlisted.
Delete everything from one city at once
- In the Journeys tab, open a city.
- Tap the ⋮ menu and choose Delete city.
- Confirm.
This deletes every journey entry and photo for that city, immediately and permanently. It does not touch your account, your other cities' Journey history, or your sign-in.
What's deleted, and what's kept
- Deleted: the journey entry itself (place, visit date, your rating and notes) and any photo you attached to it, removed from storage.
- Also cleared: if you'd hearted that place as a Pick, the heart is removed too.
- Not affected: your account, your sign-in, your other Journeys entries, and any public contributions you've made (tips, corrections, place suggestions) — those are a separate, shared record tied to the places themselves, not your Journey history.
Unlike deleting your whole account, deleting a single entry or a city has no grace period — it's immediate and can't be undone. If you want a recovery window instead, deleting your account gives you 30 days to change your mind; see how account deletion works.
